She facilitates workshops in entrepreneurship – Start-Up, Business Planning, and Marketing – through the Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center, Region 9, and with Wayne State University’s FastTrac for Entrepreneurship, a Kauffman Foundation for Entrepreneurship Program.

Before co-founding FranchiseSforSale.com, Parker was the National Franchise Development Director for Wireless Toyz. There she managed the lead qualification and franchise award process during Wireless Toyz' aggressive growth from 20 to 194 franchised retail units. Prior to that she owned two incubator-type businesses where she helped more than 100 small businesses get their start.

Parker is active with the International Franchise Association’s Detroit Franchise Business Network, and the Women's Franchise Network of Southeast Michigan. She earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from Michigan State University.
