World-Class Franchise® is a designation awarded to franchisors based on the outstanding performance on the FranSurvey®, a survey that evaluates the relationship between franchisees and their franchisor.
The FranSurvey® is given by an independent third-party--the Franchise Research Institute. Often these are companies with existing brand recognition. They may have higher start up costs, but they have also developed good will among unit owners and customers.
